麗莎·麥克弗森 Lisa McPherson（1959年2月10日—1995年12月5日）是一個山達基信徒，並是達清新者 — 山達基的一個心靈水平。[4]
1995年11月18日麥克弗森發生了輕微車禍。護理人員最初沒有處理她，因為她是可以行走自如，但之後，她開始脫去衣服，護理人員決定帶她到醫院去。她曾經說，她脫掉衣服，希望能獲得輔導。[5] 醫院工作人員一致認為，她沒有受到傷害，但建議觀察她一夜。山達基人員干預之後，麥克弗森拒絕接納精神病觀察或住院，簡短的檢查後，她自行出院。[6]這可以證明所有人員同意麥克弗森生理健康，沒有生理疾病，身體沒有受到損害。
麥克弗森即時被帶往山達基教會的旗艦服務機構（FSO）照顧，放於一小室，保持了24小時監視。十七日後她死於肺栓塞。[1] 她去世後，山達基教會被起訴兩項重罪， “虐待和/或忽視了殘疾成人” 及 “行醫無許可證”。
1997年1月21日，驗屍官瓊·活在電視節目「內部版」指出，驗屍報告顯示麥克弗森惡化緩慢，沒有飲用液體5至10天，體重不足，被蟑螂咬，她死之前昏迷了24至48小時。[32]
若不是山達基教會堅信戴尼提可以治癒一切心理病症，譲麥克弗森留在醫院，一個身體健康的人，也不會十七日之內慢慢死去。圖片：官方驗屍報告
